With exquisite sculpting skills, Dio is the first-generation figurine sculptor (げんけいし genkeishi) in Hong Kong, and is widely known in Asia. He is also an outstanding printmaker. His ex-libris have been selected for national and international exhibitions in various European and Asian countries. Being an enthusiastic educator, he set up a webpage to provide printmaking teaching materials and practical information for all for free. He has also made outstanding achievements in recycling waste for creating large-scale installations. For example, the set of public installations that he created by upcycling expiring candies and packaging in 2016 in Vancouver, Canada has set the Guinness World Record for being the largest installation of its kind. As a pioneer in integrating art, animation, manga and media, he established DIO Channel and served as the Producer since 2017. In 2018, his team collaborated with Artists Co-op to invent a pedal-driven multi-purpose blending machine for developing zero-carbon paper art-making processes.
